Action Partners

Solar Citizens—members of our Solar Nation—represent a big part of our strength but not all of it. We also reach out to like-minded organizations across the country to give their members the opportunity to participate in Actions. The concerted effort of our Action Partner Network makes Solar Nation among the most powerful of clean energy advocates.

The organizations that partner with us at different times to influence legislators and regulators all have their own discrete goals: some are chapters of national solar associations, some broad-based environmental movements, others independent sustainable energy groups. And not all of them participate in all our Actions, which is perfectly understandable—a Wisconsin environmental group might well not have an interest in (or justification for!) weighing in on pro-solar legislation in Kentucky. But whenever possible, we make our Actions available to our partners so that citizens with a passion for instituting change in energy and the environment can make their voices heard.
